Senior Django Developer, Charlotte NC

Foxley Talent are delighted to be working with a new client based in Charlotte, North Carolina who are looking for a Senior Django Developer to join their growing team.

**This is an onsite position, working a minimum of 4 days per week.**

The company works within the Medical Technology sector, providing innovative software that links embedded IoT devices to web applications used across the suite of products.

The stack is based around Python and Django, using the Django Rest Framework and Javascript and Vue.js on the front end. The successful candidate will be confident and experienced with the entire stack. The team solves complex problems across CRM and ERP systems.

As a senior member of the development team this Django Developer will be required to participate in daily reviews of the code and pull requests and help with mentoring of junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement features and reusable architectures, balancing both technical and business needs
• Showcase exceptional problem-solving abilities, making informed decisions and managing trade-offs
• Take ownership of product areas, successfully driving them from design to delivery
• Display both excellent technical writing and communication skills
• Actively participate in technical discussions, contributing insights into new tools, technology and methodologies
• Mentor juniors via code reviews, pair programming, and leading team initiatives
• Setting the standard of software development within the team, encouraging building scalable, long-term solutions

The interview process is straightforward with an initial company introduction with HR followed by an Engineering round where you will be encouraged to present a project to your future team. This stage can be conducted in person or on a video call.

This position is an onsite role, with 4 days per week to be worked from the office in Central Charlotte, North Carolina. Preference will be given to local candidates although those willing to relocate will be considered.
There is no remote working option available for this opportunity.

Salary offered is $120,000-$160,000 with a comprehensive benefits package.
