We donate 5% of our annual profits to the Django Software Foundation
Without Django we wouldn't exist. We want to use our business to generate funds to support the Django ecosystem and bring the community together as often as possible.
We have pledged to donate 5% of our annual profits to the DSF, doing our part to contribute to both the Python and Django ecosystems where we can.
It's not only financially that we try to support the community, having previously run Python and Django User Group events for a decade pre-pandemic. In 2022 we launched django.social with the aim to bring people together again to socialise, learn and meet in an inclusive and welcoming environment. This idea has organically grown into a multi-city, multi-country community.
If you want to start a django.social event in a city near you, please get in touch. It's as easy as a walk in the park...
