Lead Software Engineer

An incredible opportunity has arisen to join one of Europe's fastest growing startups as a Lead Django Engineer. My client have been on an incredible growth journey over the past 5 years and you will have the opportunity to work on an app that millions of users rely on.

The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical and people leadership skills as the role will be hands-on initially. The current team currently consists of three Django Engineers and you will lead the recruitment as the team grows.

Essential Requirements;

• 5+ years with Django
• Experience of leading at least 2+ developers
• Actively participated in scaling a Django codebase
• Experience of working on a high-performance codebase (at least 300 R/PS)
• Experience working with a relational database at scale, designing schemas, and running migrations with minimal downtime.
• Hands on experience with a PostgreSQL database larger than 500gb

They are a remote first company but occasional travel across Europe is required for this role.

Salary on offer is up to €140,000 + Bonus and stock options.
