We are thrilled to be helping a new client within the MedTech sector to hire a Software Developer with strong Python and Django experience for their growing engineering team.

*This is a fully remote role but candidates must live in Berlin to be considered for the position*

Our client are an early stage startup looking to add new products to their offering and go to market later this year alongside the current product that is already generating revenue. This new hire will join a small team and play a crucial role in the future of the team and business.

You will work closely with the tech and product leads to help develop and test new features to help them learn from their users. They are looking for an engineer that can get up and running quickly, be comfortable getting your hands on code, expanding your skillset and be comfortable explaining technical terminology to non-tech people.

The salary on offer is between €55,000-€75,000

In this position as a Software Developer, you will be tasked with writing code in Python and Django to manage data, write Restful APIs and support the Product Managers to design new product features.

Key Skills Required

  • 2+ years of commercial experience with Python & Django
  • Experience with the Django Rest Framework
  • Solid understanding of how to design, implement and consume APIs and REST based microservices
  • Familiarity with agile software development
  • Ability to work in a team which focuses on knowledge sharing, learning and mentoring
  • Good communication skills in English

This company has received a grant from the local government in Berlin to aid their growth. In return they create jobs for Berlin residents. The position is fully remote but with the caveat that you reside in the Berlin region.
