Full Stack Django Developer

Foxley Talent are currently searching for a fully remote Django Developer with full stack experience to join our US based client for a key role in their financial services team.

Their financial services team builds and maintains the software that collects and distributes payments to and from millions of annual users. The team's goal is to provide quick and secure transactions to users around the world.

We are looking for an experienced Django Engineer with full-stack capabilities. The successful candidate will have a strong background with Django/Python and have solid front-end development experience with React or any other modern framework.

What you'll do in this position:

• Develop robust and scalable web applications using Python and Django.
• Keep fraud, hacking and security top-of-mind.
• Take on complex financial challenges, developing innovative solutions.
• Take ownership of your work.
• Fix bugs.
• Participate in daily standups and regular whiteboard sessions to find technical solutions.

Key Technical Requirements:

• 6+ Years experience with Python and Django.
• Previous hands on use of the Django REST Framework.
• Experience building APIs and RESTful API design principles.
• Understanding of Django's ORM for database interaction.
• Experience with popular React libraries (e.g., Redux, React Router).
• Experience with version control.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and functional code.
• Problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Enjoy working on a small team with a big impact.

Salary offered is based on your performance during the interview process and ranges from $120,000 - $170,000 with a fantastic benefits package including unlimited PTO, bonuses, Full Health/Dental/Life Insurance and options 401k with 5% matching.
